Growth Partner, Account Manager


As a Growth Partner, you will lead a division at Clutch Technologies, the fastest growing mobility business at Cox Automotive working with dealer groups and OEMs across the country. A successful candidate will be multi-faceted: process driven, people oriented, understands finance, and technically capable. This is a fast-paced startup environment and carries with it a high degree of responsibility in a rapidly developing, competitive marketplace.

In this role you will:

  • Lead Clutch Technologies’ relationship with our strategic Connect Channel partners.
  • Support sales team efforts to support customer’s unique needs. 
  • Maintain a portfolio of partner accounts with the end goal of driving business to meet specific growth targets.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to design solutions which drive client satisfaction and improve the product delivery for both Clutch and our partner’s dealer customers. 
  • Be responsible for the Performance Management of Connect Channel customers, to ensure client success and enable the launch of future subscription products from our customers’ Connect fleets.
  • Demonstrate a positive, go-getter attitude.  

Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Rapidly launch new Connect Channel dealers. Supervise logistics, training, testing, and adoption of Clutch and our partner’s service. 
  • Create a formal Performance Management system to monitor customer success and adoption of Clutch services; maintain a valuable ongoing relationship with our customers. 
  • Create training materials and execute rigorous training methodologies for new team members. UI and capabilities are constantly changing and expanding in this burgeoning new business line.
  • Work with the Clutch Product Team to pilot new solutions and business lines throughout the Connect Channel; be the tip of the spear for Clutch Technologies.
  • Coordinate daily activity with Clutch Technologies’ strategic partner to ensure records, training, and activation are in sync.  
  • Help develop new systems to automate inventory ordering, inventory tracking, customer performance management (define new KPIs), and billing.  

Experience required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and related experience
  • 3+ years in account management or similar role
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred 
  • Experience with project management, financial modeling, and analysis
  • Sales experience a plus but not required.
